Lucy August-Perna (she, her)
Head of Global Sustainability, Live Nation Entertainment

Lucy is the Global Head of Sustainability for Live Nation, leading the strategy and implementation of the company’s environmental sustainability efforts across venues, festivals, and tours worldwide. Since joining Live Nation in 2016, Lucy has built a sustainability program across Live Nation’s US concert venues and worked with a coalition of global business leaders to advance the company’s first publicly announced global sustainability commitments focused on reducing emissions, waste and single use plastics. Lucy launched Green Nation Touring in 2021, supporting the sustainability strategy for artists including Coldplay and Depeche Mode in partnership with Live Nation promoters, artist teams, and arenas and stadiums globally. Additionally, she helped forge Live Nation’s partnership with TURN to roll out reusable cups at scale across major Live Nation festivals and venues resulting in the avoidance of over 3M single-use plastic cups to date. Prior to Live Nation, Lucy spent nearly a decade touring with artists including Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson and U2 to implement greening efforts on their tours. Lucy holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a BA in International Relations from UC Santa Barbara.
